LPHA CLINICAL DIRECTOR
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, supports regulatory compliance, and promotes individualized, trauma-informed, person-centered care that strengthens recovery, independence, and community transition.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct and oversee the facility's mental health rehabilitation program.
- Guide clinical assessments, individualized treatment planning, service recommendations, progress reviews, and discharge preparation.
- Provide clinical consultation, direction, and supervision to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Monitor clinical programming and documentation for quality, effectiveness, resident rights, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote trauma-informed care, illness management and recovery, wellness recovery planning, crisis prevention, and other evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with executive, psychiatric, nursing, quality, community-provider, resident, and family teams.
REQUIRED LPHA QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted professional license, be legally authorized to practice within its scope, and qualify as an Illinois Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts through one of the following:- Physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a psychiatric specialty
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a master's degree
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's or doctoral degree
